Georgian wine showcased in Seoul
Georgian wine was showcased in Seoul with the support of the Georgian National Wine Agency and organized by its contractor marketing company Wine21.com.
The wine event comprised masterclasses, tasting and a Georgian wine festival for 400 invited guests, among them wine experts, sommeliers, buyers, media representatives and influencers.
Micky Choi, CEO of Wine21.com and Mikheil Tigishvili, Chargé d’Affaires of Georgia to South Korea, opened the Georgian wine masterclass. The National Wine Agency’s marketing coordinator Mariam Metreveli, spoke about Georgian wine history and modern industry. Diplomatic Corps representatives attended the festival, which wrapped up the event.
South Korea is one of the strategic export markets for Georgian wine. Wine21.com implements various PR and marketing campaigns to popularize Georgian wine in the South Korean Republic. Georgian wine companies participate in international fairs such as Seoul International Wine and Spirits Expo and Daejeon International Wine Festival.
