Five Georgian wine-producing companies took part in the VIINI & RUOKA international food and beverage fair in Helsinki, organised and financially supported by the Georgian National Wine Agency, with active involvement from Georgia’s Embassy in Finland.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for Georgian wine producers to showcase their products to potential importers on-site and to forge new trade partnerships, as the VIINI & RUOKA fair is a popular and leading event in Finland.
Approximately 100 wine producer companies from around the world participated in the fair, which was attended by approximately ten thousand visitors, as well as the Georgian Ambassador in Finland, Irakli Khutsurauli, and Chargé d’affaires Levan Machavariani.
This year, Georgian wine was also presented in Finland at the historic palace, The Finnish House of Nobility, as part of an event celebrating Georgia’s Independence Day.
In the first nine months of 2025, Georgian wine was showcased at 21 exhibitions and festivals, and tasted at 220 seminars across 20 countries worldwide. Additionally, 13 wine tours were organised within Georgia for foreign wine professionals, all with the financial support of the National Wine Agency.
