Georgian and Turkish Prime Ministers hold phone conversation

Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze and his Turkish counterpart Binali Yıldırım held a telephone conversation.

According to the Georgian Governmental Administration, Bakhtadze congratulated his Turkish colleague on holding of elections successfully and underlined that Turkey is an important partner of Georgia.

Regional projects were discussed and focus was made on enhancement of bilateral cooperation. The sides expressed hope to continue strategic partnership in multilateral formats.

Turkish PM reiterated support to Georgia’s territorial integrity and state sovereignty as well as to the country’s aspiration to become integrated into European and Euro-Atlantic structures.
