Georgian side to raise issue of Khurvaleti Surveillance Tower during Ergneti meeting

The next round of the meeting of the Group of Incidents Prevention and Response Mechanisms will be held today in Ergneti village.

The Georgian side will raise the issue of putting up Surveillance Tower at Khurvaleti village by the occupational regime during the meeting.

State Security Service of Georgia told First Channel on February 6 that the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) to Georgia was informed about the issue and that a hot-line was activated.

Construction works had been ongoing for several days between the occupied Dzukaantkari and Khurvaleti villages. Iron constructions are already brought to the place.
