IPRM Group to meet in Ergneti

The meeting of the Group on Incidents Prevention and Response Mechanisms (IPRM) will take place in Ergneti village, Gori Municipality, on Thursday.

The discussion will go over the incident that occurred on April 21 near the Chvrini village in the Kareli municipality, during which the Russian military physically assaulted Georgian citizens while trying to abduct them.

At the meeting, the Georgian side will protest the borderization process at the Administrative Border Line (ABL) and the unlawful detentions of Georgian nationals. The South Ossetian occupation regime illegally imprisons five Georgian citizens.
