Georgian President: Wake up Europe!

“It is Europe and the European ideal that these Russian proxies are deliberately and savagely crushing on the Tbilisi streets. Wake up Europe!,” wrote Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on the X Platform.

President remarked on the November 28-29 pro-European protests in Tbilisi and other cities of Georgia.

Thousands of Georgians rallied for a second day running on Friday after police arrested dozens in a violent overnight crackdown on pro=EU protesters.

“Once again, we witness brutal and disproportionate attacks on the Georgian people and media, reminiscent of Russian-style repression. These actions will not be forgiven! Those responsible for the use of force should be held responsible,” she wrote.
