Georgia’s President Salome Zurabishvili arrived in Riga, Latvia, with an official visit. President will meet with high-ranking officials including President of Latvia, Speaker of Latvian Saeima and Prime Minister of Latvia.
Issues of Georgia’s integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures will be discussed within the framework of the visit.
Zurabishvili is scheduled to meet with Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga, who served as the sixth President of Latvia and the first female President of Latvia whose name is also associated with Latvia’s integration into NATO and EU. President of Georgia will also meet with Georgian students and representatives of Georgian Diaspora.
The Georgian delegation includes Georgia’s Ambassador to Latvia Tea Maisuradze, acting Head of Presidential Administration Natia Sulava, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikheil Ninua and President’s Advisor Ketevan Tatoshvili.
