Georgian PM to visit Shanghai at invitation of China’s PM

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is set to visit Shanghai at the invitation of Li Qiang, Premier of the People’s Republic of China.

According to the Georgian Government, Irakli Kobakhidze will hold discussions with the Chinese Premier as part of his visit.

“In addition, Irakli Kobakhidze will attend the opening ceremony of the China International Import Expo, where Georgia is honoured to participate as a guest of honour this year. Over 40 Georgian companies will be represented at the exhibition,” the Georgian Government stated.

They also noted that Irakli Kobakhidze is travelling to Shanghai accompanied by a delegation comprising Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Davit Songulashvili, Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, National Bank President Natia Turnava, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
