Georgian PM meets Health Minister of Turkiye

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met Kemal Memişoğlu, Minister of Health of the Republic of Türkiye, who is paying an official visit to Georgia.

During the meeting, Irakli Kobakhidze and Kemal Memişoğlu reviewed prolific cooperation in the health sector within the Georgia-Türkiye strategic partnership that brought tangible results in terms of providing quality medical services to citizens and financial access to medicines.

The PM thanked the Minister for making oncologic services in Türkiye accessible to Georgian children.

Irakli Kobakhidze also reflected on the meeting on his social media, X Platform.

“Had a constructive meeting with H.E. Kemal Memişoğlu, Minister of Health of Turkiye. I welcomed Türkiye’s continued support in the healthcare sector and reaffirmed Georgia’s commitment to deepening our partnership for the benefit of our citizens,” he said.
