Georgian PM meets European Council President

A meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili and the European Council President Charles Michel is underway in Brussels. President Michel hosted Georgian PM at the European Council.

PM-led Georgian delegation left for Brussels on Monday. Irakli Garibashvili and his government will participate in the sixth session of the EU-Georgia Association Council. Georgian PM, European Union Minister for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell, and EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhei, will hold a joint press conference following the meeting of the EU-Georgia Association Council on March 16.

The Georgian delegation will hold top-level meetings in the European Parliament and NATO on March 17. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg will host Georgian PM at the NATO Headquarters. After the meeting, both officials will hold a joint press conference.
