Uzbek President says Georgia’s impressive economic feats prove government’s effective work

“Georgia’s impressive economic achievements deserve special recognition, and I offer my heartfelt congratulations. Achieving such results, despite the current global economic climate, is undoubtedly a testament to the consistent and effective work of the government, your entire team,” the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, declared during joint negotiations with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to the President, Georgia is a vital partner and a reliable anchor for Uzbekistan in the South Caucasus.

On behalf of the people of Uzbekistan and personally, I sincerely thank you for awarding me the country’s highest state honours, the Order of the Golden Fleece. Elevating Georgian-Uzbek relations to the level of a strategic partnership is a monumental milestone.

Despite the current global economic situation, achieving such results is undoubtedly the outcome of the consistent and effective work of the Government and your entire team. Today, Georgia rightfully ranks among the world’s fastest-growing economies. Behind this triumph, of course, lies the concerted effort of visionary politicians.
