Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Markus Krebber, CEO of RWE AG, a German energy company on January 18.

Irakli Garibashvili and Markus Krebber discussed Georgia’s energy resources and outlined prospects of future cooperation.

The Prime Minister invited the CEO of RWE AG to Georgia, to gain a better understanding of the country’s business environment and resources.

RWE AG is a German multinational energy company headquartered in Essen. The company operates in various countries of the world, including Italy, Germany, Poland, France, the Czech Republic, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Turkey, the US, China, and Japan.

The company’s portfolio includes wind, solar, hydrogen, battery, gas, and other renewable energy generation. The company employs more than 19,000 people, and its revenues make up 24.5 billion euros.
