Georgian parliamentary delegation participates in NATO PA seminar in Yerevan
The Georgian parliamentary delegation, comprising members of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Mariam Lashkhi, and the Chair of the European Integration Committee, Levan Makhashvili, took part in the 108th Rose Roth Seminar organised by the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
During the seminar, participants examined the ongoing geopolitical developments in the South Caucasus, contextualising these within the broader democratic, security, and political-economic processes affecting the region.
The attendees welcomed the peace agreement brokered between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasising the importance of a balanced foreign policy for regional stability and security.
The Georgian MPs expressed positive assessments of the normalisation process between Armenia and Turkiye. They also outlined Georgia’s position on regional geopolitical shifts and security challenges.
The 108th Rose Roth Seminar is being held in Yerevan, Armenia, on September 22–23, and is organised by the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
