Georgian parliamentary delegation engages with President of Brazil’s Chamber of Deputies
During their official visit to Brazil, the Georgian parliamentary delegation met with Hugo Motta, President of the Chamber of Deputies. The discussion centred on strengthening political, economic, and trade relations, with a particular emphasis on the exchange of experience.
The delegation briefed Mr. Motta on the current situation in the occupied regions and expressed gratitude to the Brazilian government for its steadfast support of Georgia’s territorial integrity.
The President of the Chamber of Deputies introduced the Georgian parliamentarians to the Brazilian lawmakers present at the plenary, describing their visit as a significant milestone in bilateral relations.
The delegation, led by Foreign Relations Committee Chair Nikoloz Samkharadze, comprises Chair of Education, Science and Youth Affairs Mariam Lashkhi and Sports Committee Chair Victor Sanikidze. Georgian Ambassador to Brazil Zurab Mchedlishvili attended the meeting.
