The Georgian national football team is set to play an international friendly against Romania on June 2. Under the management of Willy Sagnol, the team will host Romania at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi.

Romania, meanwhile, remains in the hunt for a place in the 2026 World Cup, as they compete in the playoff stages. Mircea Lucescu’s side will face Türkiye in the semi-finals, with a chance to secure their spot in the tournament.

Ahead of the June fixture, Georgia will face Israel in Tbilisi on March 26, followed by a match against Lithuania in Kaunas on March 29.
