Georgian gov't to grant one-off financial assistance to Ukrainian families with children
The Georgian Government will provide one-off financial aid to vulnerable Ukrainian families with children with the support of UNICEF.
According to UNICEF Georgia, families that arrive in Georgia after 1 February 2022 will get GEL470 per child.
“To receive financial aid, the parent/legal representative of a Ukrainian child must apply to the Social Service Agency’s offices before 1 March 2023 and provide their passport and the child’s passport/birth certificate. Interested parties can call the hotline 1505,” UNICEF reports.
