Georgian government officials relocate from Caucasus Medical Centre to the Patriarchate
The Georgian Prime Minister, along with members of the government, the President, the Speaker of Parliament, the Mayor of Tbilisi, and representatives of both the executive and legislative branches, have departed from the Caucasus Medical Centre.
They have now transferred to the Patriarchate, where subsequent decisions will be made.
In accordance with church legislation, a commission must now be established, comprising both lay and clerical members, to oversee and decide on the forthcoming processes.
Recently, Metropolitan Shio Mujiri, the Locum Tenens of the Georgian Patriarchal Throne, confirmed the death of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II.
