Georgian FM participates in panel discussion within Munich Security Conference
Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili participated in a panel discussion held within the Munich Security Conference (MSC) – Defining Eurasia’s Strategic Order: The Middle Corridor as a European Security Agenda for Stability, Peace, Security and Connectivity.
Maka Bothorishvili focused on Georgia’s role in the development of the Middle Corridor and emphasized the significance of connectivity, portraying the Middle Corridor as not only a transport route but also as secure, rapid and effective economic bridge.
In addition, Georgia’s strategic location and open economic policy were noted, which make the country an “unalternative hub connecting Europe and Asia.”
Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso. Director of the Academy of International Affairs (NRW), Mayssoun Zein Al Din, facilitated the panel discussion.
