Georgian FM meets UN Resident Coordinator Didier Trebucq
Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili held a high-level bilateral meeting with UN Resident Coordinator in Georgia Didier Trebucq.
According to official information released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks underscored the robust cooperation between the Georgian Government and the United Nations, placing particular emphasis on operationalising the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for 2026–2030.
The diplomats also reviewed key items on the broader UN agenda, including structural institutional reforms pursued under Secretary-General António Guterres’s “UN80 Initiative.”
Furthermore, both sides outlined Georgia’s core strategic priorities at upcoming high-level UN summits and international assemblies scheduled for the current year.
