The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Georgia, Mustafa Türker Arı.
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, during the meeting, the parties reviewed the dynamic agenda of bilateral cooperation between Georgia and the Republic of Türkiye and discussed prospects for further deepening their strategic partnership.
“The discussion also focused on the current situation in the region, with particular emphasis on the importance of supporting peace and stability as a prerequisite for regional development and long-term prosperity.
The Minister wished the Ambassador success in his future endeavours,” reads the Foreign Ministry’s statement.
