Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice Prime Minister Maka Botchorishvili met Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel, during the 135th Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, held in Chişinău, Moldova.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the significance of dialogue, relations with the EU and ongoing processes in Georgia and the region were reviewed during the meeting.

Maka Botchorishvili focused on Georgia’s progress in economic development and priorities in this direction.

The two Foreign Ministers emphasized Georgia’s role and prospects in the context of connectivity. Georgian FM also touched on security challenges, the situation in the occupied regions and cooperation in multilateral formats.
