Maka Botchorishvili, Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a farewell meeting with Hassan bin Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Georgia.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the Minister and Ambassador highlighted the positive dynamics of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats and emphasized the significance of the implementation of high-level visits to enhance relations.
The Minister and Ambassador focused on the agenda of cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, and connectivity, during which the importance of concluding a free trade agreement between the countries was underscored.
They also reviewed the security situation in the region and globally. The Ambassador of Qatar reconfirmed support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Minister Botchorishvili expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for prolific cooperation and wished him success in his future endeavors.
