Georgian, Armenian, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers meet in Tbilisi

Foreign Ministers of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are holding a meeting in Tbilisi aimed at establishing a new framework for regional cooperation.

According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the meeting was initiated jointly by Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

“The meeting seeks to share the vision and ideas of the three countries on possible directions that will lay the foundation for trilateral cooperation.

The meeting aims to exchange common interests, which will further promote the development of mutually beneficial practical trilateral cooperation among the countries, ultimately directed towards the well-being, stability and sustainable development of the region.

This new trilateral format does not contradict or replace any other existing format of cooperation, but represents an additional effort by the three neighbouring countries to establish constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation,” the ministry added.
