Georgian Ambassador to U.S. attends reception honouring Ambassador Monica Crawley

Georgia’s Ambassador to the United States, Tamar Taliashvili, attended a reception held in honour of the U.S. Chief of Protocol, Ambassador Monica Crawley. Taliashvili shared on Facebook that during the event, discussions centred around international relations and the vital role of women in diplomacy.

“I was honoured to attend the distinguished event held in recognition of Ambassador Monica Crowley, Chief of Protocol of the United States, graciously hosted by the Ambassadors of Ireland and Rwanda to the United States. During which we discussed the significance of women’s roles in international relations and diplomacy,” she said.

In addition to Ambassador Taliashvili, the event was also attended by female heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the U.S.

“Ambassador Monica Crowley, in addition to being a distinguished and recognised Stateswoman, is also an accomplished author. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the autograph and thoughtful inscription she wrote for me in a copy of her published book,” Taliashvili added.
