Georgian Airways denies selling tickets via MIR

Air Company Georgian Airways denied selling air tickets through MIR plastic cards payment.

The Company clarified in a released statement that it has an agreement with the EU-registered Ukrainian company WebSky, which is an international air ticket selling system.

WebSky sells the tickets via Visa and Mastercard credit cards. The Company also said that it is in a difficult financial condition on the verge of bankruptcy.

Nika Melia, Chair of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party reported during a special news briefing held earlier today that Georgian Airways was selling tickets via MIR.
