Georgia and the US signed a grant agreement based on which the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will allocate USD 67 million-worth grant to Georgia with the prospect to increase the sum up to USD 330 million.

The grant agreement signing ceremony for Promoting Sustainable Development in Georgia took place at the Governmental Administration.

Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili and Mission Director of USAID/Georgia Peter Wiebler inked the document.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan opened the ceremony.
