Agro Co-Financing State Program comes into effect

Agro Co-Financing State Program came into effect on July 1. The program is implemented by the Rural Development Agency and aims to promote modern technologies adapted to climatic conditions in the agricultural sector, increase production and improve product quality.

According to the Agency, the program will finance the cultivation of perennial crops; setting up greenhouses, livestock and poultry farms, beekeeping, aquaculture, and mariculture facilities; the construction of slaughterhouses and the creation of processing and storage facilities.

Individual entrepreneurs or legal entities can join the program. The total amount of co-financing of the Agency within the framework of the program is determined at 2 million GEL.

Farmers interested in setting up a dairy farm will benefit from different conditions. Applications will be received online through the official website of the Rural Development Agency. Registration is possible at the Agency head office or at municipal consulting centers. Additional information is available at ww.rda.gov.ge.
