Georgia sets up quarantine zone at Gori Military Hospital

As part of the preventive measures against the novel coronavirus, Giorgi Abramishvili Gori Military Hospital has declares as a quarantine zone, Ministry of Defense of Georgia said on Monday.

The Ministry said the decision was made in coordination with the Minister of IDPs from the occupied territories, labour, health and social affairs of Georgia and National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.

Patients in the high-risk group will be hospitalised in Gori Military Hospital and treated in accordance with regulations established by the Ministry of Health.

Ministry of Defense of Georgia noted that the Crisis Management Team (CMT) are in place, specific schemes have been developed and doctors are following the recommendations.
