Georgia, Republic of Korea open first round of economic partnership negotiations

The first round of economic partnership negotiations between Georgia and the Republic of Korea opened in Tbilisi.

The partnership agreement comprises trade with goods and services, customs procedures, sanitary and phytosanitary rules, technical barriers, transport, energy and investments.

Intending to promote economic, trade and investment relations between Georgia and the Republic of Korea, Georgian Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Gennady Arveladze and the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea signed a joint statement on the negotiations opening on November 2, 2023, in Seoul.
