Georgia reported 522 coronavirus cases, 1 074 recoveries, and 14 deaths on Sunday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 276 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 45 cases, and the Imereti region with 44 cases.
A total of 21 922 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 11 016 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 10 906 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2,38%, while 2,61% in the past 14 days.
As of June 12, 206 742 people got the coronavirus vaccine.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 353 965 among them, 339 392 people recovered and 5 048 died.
There are 41 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 3 155 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 610 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
