Georgia joins UNWTO's 122nd Executive Council meeting in Colombia

Maia Omiadze, Head of Georgia’s National Tourism Administration, is attending the ongoing United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Executive Council meeting in Cartagena, Colombia.

The UNWTO Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili opened the 122nd Council session. The event brings together tourism ministers and government representatives from UNWTO member countries. The council meeting includes thematic discussion panels focused on the organization’s current activities and future initiatives.

Tamar Koriauli, First Deputy Head of the National Tourism Administration, is also attending the council meeting.

As part of the event, Georgia’s delegation is participating in thematic discussion panels that address current tourism industry trends, growth dynamics, and other significant initiatives.

The 122nd Council meeting featured a Global Tourism Investment and Innovation Forum, where delegations from various countries had the opportunity to share their achievements and experiences.
