Georgian First Channel has held a presentation of a new project Georgia 360 today.

The new project gives the opportunity to interested people to travel to the country’s unique places. They can tour the destinations they have never been to before.

The project aims at popularization of Georgia and its culture characteristic.

About 4 thousand photos of high resolution have been taken for the time being. The shooting is ongoing in the regions.

The author of the project is Vasil Maghlaperidze, former Director General of Georgian First Channel. The photos are shot by Irakli Gedenidze.

Director General of Georgian First Channel Tinatin Berdzenishvili said the First Channel made a gift for its audience, for the Georgian people, which combines Georgia’s folklore, history, music, culture and ethnography.

“The project is innovative. Each user can choose a tour and travel to Georgia. I think the project will be interesting for foreign guests and for small businesses as well. Small businesses can use this platform for free,” said Berdzenishvili.

Project author Vasil Maglaperidze noted that Georgia 360 is important for schoolchildren, Georgian citizens interested in their country, as well as tourists.

“This project arouses interest to travel to Georgia. On top of that, it is the imprint of history. The project has launched today and I think it will last for decades,” said Maglaperidze.
