GD’s Sharmanashvili: Opposition accusing each other of being agents
“There is not only controversy in the opposition; what are the words when addressing and accusing each other? Saakashvili accuses Melia, saying he entered into a deal with the government; they also mention patrons,” said Tengiz Sharmanashvili, a member of the Georgian Dream party.
According to Sharmanashvili, Nika Melia and Mikheil Saakashvili are accusing one another of being agents.
“They act with incorrect policy and are directly accusing one another of being agents. One former chair of the party is telling another former chair that he is an agent. We said they have patrons abroad; they rejected it, but now they are telling each other the same. The only motive that Saakashvili was scared of Melia’s depriving him of leadership, and that is why he got into a sour cream container and arrived, doesn’t sound convincing. It is clear what forces were helping to carry out this operation. If external forces believed that Saakashvili was coming to Georgia for personal interests, they would not have helped carry out such a large-scale operation.
Saakashvili is sent from Ukraine by some circles. Melia tells Saakashvili that he has some patrons who sent him to Georgia. We said that revolutionary scenarios were written abroad and these people were ruled from outside. They said it was a lie, but we saw that it is a reality. Everything is managed from abroad, and they are managed by their masters. The claims that we were making are convincing,” he said.
