GD Political Council: Global War Party manages to manipulate opinions of minority
“The Global War Party manages to manipulate only the opinions of a minority within the public. Today, it pits the minority supporting the collective National Movement against their own country’s national interests, just as it has done in numerous other countries,” reads the statement of the Georgian Dream party’s Political Council.
The Georgian Dream said that supporters of the local war party, i.e. the collective National Movement, are fully aware that the truth is not on their side, which is precisely why they reject every proposal by the authorities to engage in public discussions.
“Unfortunately, their servile mindset prevents these individuals from critically assessing the actions of American or European bureaucracies.
Under the influence of the Global War Party, the modern world operates on Orwellian principles: “War is peace, slavery is freedom, and ignorance is strength.” War, slavery, ignorance, and the deliberate reversal of truth are the primary tools through which the Global War Party informally governs a significant part of the modern world,” the statement reads.
According to the statement, Congressman Joe Wilson, who chairs the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, also known as the Helsinki Commission, represents one of the harshest manifestations of the “deep state.”
“US Congressman Joe Wilson was made to initiate the so-called Megobari Act concerning Georgia, which, based on its content, can only be described as the Enemy Act. Wilson acted on the principle of “combining the pleasant with the useful,” pairing the execution of “deep state” assignments with financial benefits from Kezerashvili, a plunderer of European pensioners. The money taken from dozens of European pensioners is now being directed to one American pensioner, – Joe Wilson – thereby allowing the “deep state” to achieve its political objectives and blackmail Georgia with sanctions. Joe Wilson represents one of the harshest manifestations of the “deep state” – a degraded politician with zero political culture who crudely threatens to punish us if we do not go to war.
We remind you that Joe Wilson, who presents himself as a politician with a conservative worldview, has not once condemned Antony Blinken’s decision to prohibit referring to men as men and women as women – a decision unanimously rejected by President Trump’s team. Consequently, it is no surprise that Wilson faithfully continues Blinken’s line when it comes to punishing Georgia.
President Trump’s successful fulfilment of the objective of dismantling the “deep state” could ensure a qualitative reset in Georgian-American relations, which, we believe, equally aligns with the interests of both Georgia and the United States,” reads the statement.
