GD MP Kadagishvili: Saakashvili was puppet serving global war interests

Georgian Dream party member Irakli Kadagishvili has claimed that former President Mikheil Saakashvili acted as a “puppet” during his time in power, serving “global war interests” rather than Georgia’s national interests.

The Georgian Dream MP suggested that Saakashvili had been brought into the country “to create disorder,” though he claimed “this effort had failed.”

“The state took appropriate measures, and now we see that for years they wanted to damage Georgia through this very process,” Kadagishvili said. “They believe that Georgia, as a sovereign state, should be delegitimised, and Georgia is acceptable to them only with puppet governance.”
