GD member dies following confrontation with opposition activist, Imedi TV reports

Imedi TV reported an incident in Tskaltubo where opposition activist Roland Nutsubidze allegedly insulted members of the ruling Georgian Dream party during a door-to-door meeting in the village of Geguti. According to the report, Nutsubidze verbally attacked Ermile Gigiadze, a member of Georgian Dream.

During the heated exchange, Gigiadze reportedly suffered a stress-related medical incident and tragically passed away on the spot.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident.
