Executive Secretary of the Georgian Dream party, Mamuka Mdinaradze remarked on the statement of Matthew Miller, Spokesperson of the US Department of State.

Mdinaradze wrote on Faceebook:

1. They want to make it done before Trump’s inauguration;
2. Protests lack impetus and they want to assist;
3. What did they suspend – visa-free travel, free trade or direct flights?

The US suspended its Strategic Partnership with Georgia due to the GD’s anti-democratic actions. “Georgian Dream’s various anti-democratic actions have violated the core tenets of our U.S.-Georgia Strategic Partnership. As a result, the United States has suspended this mechanism,” reads the statement of Matthew Miller, US Department of State Spokesperson.
