GCAA suspends direct flights with China up to March 29, 2020

“As part of preventive measures to avert the spread of coronavirus in Georgia, direct flight with  China has been temporarily suspended,” the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency (GCAA) said earlier today.

According to GCAA, China is aware of this decision.

The Georgian Civil Aviation Agency (GCAA) added that the suspension of flight lasts up to the end of the winter navigation season (March 29, 2020).

132 people had died from the coronavirus in China. More than 6,000 people have now been infected, Health Ministry of China stated.

Chinese government says the coronavirus outbreak could reach its peak in around 10 days.
