Gakharia’s Sichinava: If Kaladze and other mayors are “20%ers”, why did you deceive the people? No one can escape accountability

“If Kaladze and the other mayors are 20%ers, why did you mislead the public? Why did you leave them at home? Why did you shatter their belief that victory was possible?” Berdia Sichinava, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party, wrote on social media.

According to him, no one can evade responsibility.

“For two days now, I’ve been observing the rhetoric of the boycott advocates and failed revolutionaries: ‘Kaladze is a 20% mayor,’ ‘Kaladze has 20% legitimacy,’ and the most audacious part is that they are using this fact to justify their harmful boycott stance. If Kaladze and the other mayors are 20%ers, why did you deceive the people? Why did you leave them at home? Why did you take away their faith in victory? Are you fools or in cahoots with the Georgian Dream? Why did you hand everything over to the Georgian Dream at the local level? Why did you abandon the people to face the Georgian Dream’s feudal lords and corrupt officials alone? No one can escape responsibility for this; all of it will surely be reevaluated,” Sichinava asserts.
