Gakharia vows to fight on, not surrendering to GD, says Brussels is his strongest arena
“I am prepared to fight in any shape and location. I will not surrender to the Georgian Dream party like this,” Giorgi Gakharia, chairman of the “Gakharia for Georgia” party, told Euroscope in Brussels.
When asked about his plans to return to Georgia, Gakharia stated, “Of course, I intend to do so. I still have trips planned from here to the United States and Great Britain. Of course, I’ll return.”
“It’s hard to predict how far the boundaries of this government’s incompetence will stretch. Their incompetence cannot be measured. Every day of mine is a political step. Today it turned out that there were many people, and I couldn’t avoid the media, otherwise I never liked to promote what I do. Often, it is unnecessary, and it diminishes efficacy. As a result, I’ve had more important days than today in the past two weeks. We must all perform our jobs and fight where we are most effective. Gakharia stated, “If I’m effective here, I fight here; if I’m effective there, I fight there; and if I’m effective in prison, I fight in prison.”
When asked if his return to Georgia would be effective, Gakharia replied, “For now, my most effective presence is here, with these people.”
