Gakharia for Georgia party to keep on parliamentary boycott

The Gakharia for Georgia party will keep on with the parliamentary boycott, the party member, Tata Khvedeliani, said.

According to Khvedeliani, the party will make a decision after the parliament exhausts all procedures for the recognition of MP mandates of Gakharia for Georgia members.

“This is a matter of procedures. We choose political boycottt amid challenges facing the country. Let us wait, there are stages this issue has to pass through. Our issue was passed in the Bureau, it will next go to the Plenary, and likely be approved. I don’t know. Everything is anticipated from the Georgian Dream. We remain boycotting parliamentary sessions and choose this way of the fight,” she said.

Following the termination of parliamentary mandates for 12 members of the Gakharia for Georgia party, the Committee on Procedural Issues discussed the recognition of their replacements at today’s session
