French Ambassador: Georgia needs to focus on challenges in health, economic, and region

Georgia is now facing significant challenges on the health front, on the economic front, in the regional front, where the situation is very complicated. All the energy of the country must focus on these challenges, Ambassador of France to Georgia, Diego Colas, told journalists.

According to the Ambassador, the EU mediation offers a good opportunity to turn the page to agree on something.

“I do not have any expectations. What I think is that the tensions of the past weeks, the past months, are a challenge for Georgia. Because Georgia is now facing significant challenges on the health front, on the economic front, in the regional front where the situation is very complicated. All the energy of the country must focus on these challenges. It is important that the tensions on the domestic political front abate. The EU mediation offers a good opportunity to turn the page to agree on something. I also joined my voice to those who claim for political leadership to be able to find a solution, to turn the page and to concentrate on the issues on which Georgia needs to concentrate,” Diego Colas stated.
