Free attendance abolished for 12th-graders, study year for them to end on May 20

In connection with the cancellation of school graduation exams at public schools, the regime of free attendance for 12th-grade pupils will be abolished and the study year will end on May 20 – reads the information released by Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

If a graduate pupil missed more than 30% of hours dedicated to a particular subject, he/she will be able to pass an exam and an extern and register for an exam till May 21-22, the examination period has been determined to be May 23-31.

The practice of free attendance was active after 2012-2013.
