Former Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund granted GEL 300,000 bail as preventive measure
The former Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund, Davit Tabidze, has been imposed a GEL 300,000 bail as a preventive measure.
The judge satisfied the plea of the Prosecutor’s Office. Davit Tabidze will be deprived of his passport and ID card, and he will be banned from leaving Georgia’s territory.
The former Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund was detained on October 27. The Prosecutor’s Office charged him with abuse of official authority in relation to the tenders for the construction of kindergartens across various municipalities.
In connection with this case, criminal prosecution has also been initiated against two other employees of the Municipal Development Fund for abuse of official authority. They were granted bail as a preventive measure, taking into account their cooperation with the investigation.
