Former Defence Minister Bacho Akhalaia receives medical assistance during ongoing questioning
The First Medical Aid brigade arrived at the Criminal Police Department earlier today, where former Defence Minister Bacho Akhalaia was summoned for questioning regarding the events in Tbilisi on October 4. He was called as a witness and to provide a voice sample.
According to available information, Bacho Akhalaia began to feel unwell. Medical personnel attended to him, providing necessary assistance, and his questioning then continued.
Bacho Akhalaia arrived at the police station at 1 p.m.
On October 4, Imedi TV broadcast an audio recording purportedly capturing a conversation between Bacho Akhalaia and Paata Burchuladze, leader of the Rustaveli Avenue movement. The authenticity of this recording has not been officially confirmed. The dialogue is said to concern the events of October 4.
