Foreign Ministry to apply all int’l mechanisms to release captive Georgian fighters in Ukraine

The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been informed through open sources that Russian military forces have taken two Georgian fighters hostage in Ukraine, the agency announced.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the Georgian side will apply all international mechanisms, including the Red Cross and Swiss Confederation, to mediate between Georgia and Russia for the protection of the Constitution-guaranteed rights of the Georgian citizens.
