Georgia expresses hope that the truce agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia will contribute to the large-scale process of conflict resolution – Foreign Ministry of Georgia said in statement.
“Georgia supports dialogue between the two sides. We express readiness to contribute to the implementation of peace process together with the international community. We are sure that active efforts of the international community and activation of multiparty international mechanisms will bring the result for establishment of long-lasting peace that will create new opportunities for the whole region,” reads the statement of Foreign Ministry.
Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia signed an agreement on Tuesday to end six weeks of fierce fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh region.
