Foreign Minister Botchorishvili discusses bilateral relations and high-level visits with Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister

Within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with Ayaz Baetov, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Minister of Justice.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministers deliberated on current issues on the agenda concerning Georgia-Kyrgyzstan relations.

“The significance of high-level visits was underscored,” the statement noted. The discussion also encompassed prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation, as well as opportunities to deepen collaboration across various sectors, including reforms in public services.

Additionally, the meeting addressed issues related to cooperation and mutual support within international organisations.

The Foreign Ministry highlighted the growing importance of the Middle Corridor and Georgia’s transit potential, emphasising the strategic significance of regional connectivity.
