FM Darchiashvili's interpellation in parliament takes place amid skirmish

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili’s interpellation at the Parliament continues amid a skirmish.

A verbal altercation at the session followed a speech by the opposition MP, leader of the Strategy Agmashenebeli party, Giorgi Vashadze, who questioned, “What does the government recommend to immigrants? Why don’t they open polling stations?”

The ruling party MPs, Mamuka Mdinaradze and Irakli Beraia protested the content of his speech, calling him “a traitor and a bastard.”

“Are you getting paid to cheat? Why didn’t you sign the Euronest resolution? Just explain,” Irakli Beraia addressed Vashadze.

Giorgi Vashadze noted it is the parliamentary majority who commit provocation.

At this moment, the session continues amid skirmish and roars.
