FM Botchorishvili: Normalization benefits EU; Georgia remains key partner for U.S. and Europe

“Georgia’s primary goal is to ensure stability and peace in our region and to create opportunities to improve the lives of our citizens,” Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili told the media recently.

The minister emphasised that the normalisation of relations with Georgia is also in the European Union’s strategic interest, reaffirming Georgia’s significance as a vital partner for both the United States and Europe.

“The normalisation of relations with Georgia is, of course, in the interests of the European Union itself. Georgia is a vital partner for both the United States and the European Union,” Bochorishvili stated.

“It is essential that our relations are founded on mutual respect and, above all, aligned with each other’s interests. Georgia’s primary goal is to ensure stability and peace in our region, foster economic development, and create opportunities to improve the lives of our citizens. Only by adhering to these principles can we achieve our strategic objectives, including closer integration into the European Union,” Maka Botchorishvili concluded.
